What are the required documents?

Bill of Lading: Details about the exporter, importer, weight of the goods, shipping line, vessel name, etc.
Commercial Invoice: Information on the goods, freight cost, Incoterms, and any additional charges.
Freight Invoice: Necessary if the freight cost isn’t specified on the commercial invoice.
Export Customs Declaration: Prepared by the customs officials of the exporting country, providing detailed descriptions of the goods.

What are the consequences of not having this certificate?

You need to have this certificate five days before the vessel arrives at the destination port at the latest. If not, you will be facing a fine, twice the amount of the CTN plus a regulation fee determined by the Liberia National Port Officials.
